Position Summary
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, securing, and stewarding corporate partnerships and gifts to Southeast Missouri Food Bank. This position reports directly to the Chief Development Officer.
The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with businesses across the Food Bank’s 16-county service area in southeast Missouri. These relationships are built through various strategies, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and engagement with assigned prospects and donors.
In collaboration with the CEO and Chief Development Officer, the Corporate Partnerships Manager leads and executes corporate fundraising initiatives. Key areas of focus include cause marketing, sponsorships, in-kind donations, event participation, and corporate volunteer engagement—all in support of the Food Bank’s mission and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate corporate prospects and donors.
Develop and implement strategies to secure corporate gifts and sponsorships.
Manage and grow cause marketing and in-kind donation programs.
Coordinate corporate participation in Food Bank events and volunteer opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership to align corporate engagement with organizational goals.
Represent the Food Bank at networking events and community functions.
Provide stewardship and recognition to corporate partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role; OR 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Proven experience in fundraising, corporate gift solicitation, or corporate sales/customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a mission-driven team environment.
Experience with CRM systems preferred.
Valid Missouri driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
