FP&A Sr. Specialist

Position Summary:
Working thru the Accounting Manager with responsibilities to headquarters for monthly forecast, performance analysis, annual budget management and work-in-process management of inventory items. Responsible for improvements in process and will act as a key liaison between company and headquarters. 
 
Position Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance or relative business degree required;
  • Minimum three years’ experience in accounting required; manufacturing environment strongly preferred;
  • Must speak fluent Chinese or Mandarin required with basic English-speaking ability and comprehension; ability to translate verbal conversation.
  • Working knowledge of forecasting and performance analysis strongly preferred;
  • Strong analytical, organizational and managerial skills;
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.
General Job Duties:
Monthly Forecast & Performance Analysis
  • Consolidate monthly production forecasts from line supervisors, prepare independent estimation results, and provide objective insights on business forecasts.
  • Review and analyze daily breakdown data submitted by workshops; calculate and track daily/weekly performance of production volume, cost, and profit by production line.
  • Conduct on-site verification to ensure data accuracy, promptly highlight production issues, and coordinate resources to address them.
  • Prepare production line profit statements prior to monthly closing meetings; assess workshop risk levels and collaborate with relevant teams to develop solutions.
  • Review monthly operating results, prepare analysis reports, and deliver independent performance assessments.
Annual Budget Management
  • Review the accuracy and completeness of production line budget allocations in alignment with annual budget resolutions and targets.
  • Monitor budget execution for each production line and prepare regular operating analysis reports.
  • Identify workshops with potential financial or operational risks, issue early warnings, and coordinate corrective measures to mitigate risks.
Work-in-Process (WIP) Management
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks of WIP in workshops to ensure accuracy of data reporting.
  • Identify potential WIP inventory risks and provide timely feedback with actionable recommendations.
Hours and Benefits:
  • Base work schedule is Monday thru Friday, onsite during day hours with overtime as needed for business necessity. Flexible work schedule during project work will be required.

  • Salaried wage is based on qualifications and experience (salary range $80,000 - $105,000).
Quality Requirements (for food production safety):
Minimal facial hair, minimal makeup, no jewelry, false fingernails, nail polish, hair extensions, wigs, toupees, cologne or perfume. Long hair must be tied up for safety reasons. Facility is a non-smoking, non-tobacco facility.
