Our guest speaker, Dr. Margie Vandeven was appointed Missouri’s sixth Commissioner of Education by the State Board of Education in December 2014, and assumed her role Jan. 1, 2015. Dr. Vandeven will share her personal goals, mentors along the way and accomplishments in education that positioned her to be appointed as the Commissioner.
